High Potential Season 3 may finally tackle Morgan and Karadec's will-they-won't-they dynamic

High Potential Season 3 has been one of the most anticipated seasons of the series. After the intense cliffhanger that the viewers were left with at the end of the previous season, the anticipation regarding the storyline is rising with each passing moment.

Besides the cliffhanger regarding the well-being of Nick Wagner, who was heavily injured at the end of the second season, the dynamic between Morgan and Karadec has also been a constant source of intrigue for viewers since the beginning of the series.

In a recent interview shared on the Instagram profile of On The Red Carpet, Kaitlin Olson opened up about the dynamic of Morgan and Karadec in High Potential Season 3.

Possibility of Morgan and Karadec’s dynamic taking a step forward in High Potential Season 3 and more

Besides having an intense storyline surrounding the mysteries that Karadec and Morgan solve together, there is also an aspect of personal connection that the two of them have. Through the time that they spent together solving the cases, they have become reliant on each other for both emotional and professional support. However, their timing never seemed to favor them.

While discussing Karadec and Morgan’s will-they-won’t they dynamic in High Potential Season 3, Kaitlin Olson notes that she wishes she “could tell everything,” but it is not possible. However, she notes that there is always the presence of “will they or won’t they with Karadec,” further teasing the dynamic that the two of them have in the series.

Though she does not reveal the details about whether Morgan and Karadec’s relationship will take a positive direction in High Potential Season 3, her words undeniably add a layer of intrigue. In a previous interview with TV Insider, Kaitlin Olson also noted that she loves the manner in which Karadec interacts with Morgan in the series. There is always an uncertainty regarding the aspect of whether Morgan is “flirting with him”, “hates him,” or loves him”.

She eventually notes that the viewers will be getting “an answer” after a significant “slow burn”. This indicates that there is a possibility of Karadec and Morgan’s dynamic being addressed in the upcoming season. Right after the series started, the steady growth in Karadec and Morgan’s relationship has raised the eagerness of the viewers to watch them have a romantic relationship.

Initially, Karadec was quite aloof towards Morgan; however, as he began to notice how significant her contribution was to the cases, he understood her competence. High Potential Season 3 can be expected to unveil not just Karadec and Morgan’s dynamic but also the situation of Wagner. High Potential Season 3 is reportedly set to release in January next year.

Despite the significant cliffhanger related to Wagner’s character at the end of the second season, Steve Howey will not be returning for High Potential Season 3 as a series regular. Howey had signed a one-year contract for the second season of the series. As his contract has expired, he will not be a significant part of the storyline for the third season.

However, there is a chance of him returning as a guest. Kaitlin Olson will be returning as Morgan, along with Daniel Sunjata, who brings life to Adam Karadec’s character in the series. In a recent social media post by Daniel Sunjata, the actor shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the third season with the caption, “we are back”.
