Rob Feeley’s behavior on Love Is Blind Season 11 has raised some serious questions and made me question his relationship with alcohol. While it would be unfair to diagnose someone based on their reality TV appearance, Rob's recent outburst and apparent frustration over not getting alcohol have left me wondering whether there is more to the story than meets the eye.

The 40-year-old AI Infrastructure Sales professional from Rhode Island got engaged to Michaella Giorgio during the first half of Netflix's reality dating series. However, after Rob's outbursts at a Love is Blind cast gathering and a Boston Bar, Michaella re-examined their relationship and eventually broke off her engagement.

Rob's revelation about his father's recent death and his being in 'a lot of pain in my life in the last year and a half' suggest he was not in the best emotional state. Additionally, his volatile outburst after his friend was refused another alcoholic drink at a Boston bar further hints that alcohol is a flashpoint and triggers anger inside him.

3 things that hint Rob from Love Is Blind has an alcohol problem

1) Rob's bar outburst with the producers hints at an alcohol problem

A dead giveaway is Rob's behavior when he introduced Michaella to a group of his friends at a Boston bar. While the group seemed to get along initially, things took a turn when Love is Blind producers refused to serve Rob's friend Joe any more alcohol. I think it is telling about Rob's relationship with alcohol, as his behavior changed when Joe was refused more cocktails.

Things escalated as Rob lashed out at the producers and asked them to stop filming:

"Cut the cameras. You’re cut off, I’m cut off."

Rob's outburst continued even when a female producer revealed that it was not them but the restaurant that stopped serving them alcohol:

"OK, all right. Take the mics off all of us. I don’t really care. Honestly, I’m done with this anyway. Take it all off. You’re gonna cut my boy off? Cut us all off."

Rob’s change in behavior after being denied alcohol highlights how easily he becomes angry and frustrated when he cannot get liquor.

2) Rob confronted Michaella after ordering a Guinness

Another incident that suggests Rob from Love Is Blind has an alcohol problem is how his demeanor changed after asking for a Guinness. After his heated exchange with the producers, Rob asked for a Guinness and returned to his table. Rob brought up an earlier incident where Michaella called him aggressive for 'accidentally' pulling her earring.

I found it strange that Rob confronted his fiancée about a past issue immediately after the alcohol incident, hinting that alcohol certainly triggers him and brings out the worst in him. While this also highlights an inability to control his anger, the alcohol certainly fueled it, forcing him to confront Michaella about the earring issue.

Following this incident, Michaella admitted that Rob had a lot to drink the night before and came at her behind the camera, which proves that the Love is Blind contestant likely cannot hold his liquor.

3) Rob's outburst at the Love is Blind cast gathering seals the deal

While Rob's behaviour in front of his friends could be seen as an outburst in the heat of the moment, he continued showing problematic behaviour when the couple gathered with the Love is Blind cast, which eventually resulted in Michaella breaking off their engagement.

I believe Rob was still over the edge after the alcohol incident in the bar, which led to another outburst when he saw his partner talking with pod squad member Matt Waldrip. I noticed a pattern of Rob blaming Netflix and the show for his behaviour, which was quite strange:

"I’m going down in this thing. Right where Netflix wants me, buddy. Dude, they’re gonna manipulate this whole thing into something crazy."

It looks like after Rob and his friends were refused service of alcohol, he grew frustrated with the experiment itself and questioned his appearance on TV, which led Michaella to make the game-changing decision about their future.

Rob's past trauma of losing his father, two close friends and his uncle, paired with his out-of-the-blue outburst due to alcohol, hints that the Love is Blind contestant likely has an alcohol problem.

Love is Blind Season 11 will conclude on November 8.
