Netflix is premiering a horror TV show, If Wishes Could Kill, on April 24 of this year. This upcoming South Korean TV series is about high school students who find a strange app that grants wishes. The app comes with a deadly cost because every wish starts a countdown that ends with the death of the user. The series will be released with all eight episodes at once.

The show stars Jeon So Young, Baek Sun Ho, Kang Mi Na, Hyun Woo Seok and Lee Hyo Je. The director of this show is Park Youn-seo. Jeon So Young appeared in this series as Yoo Se Ah. You can see Baek Sun Ho play the character of Kim Gun Woo. Moreover, Lee Hyo Je will play Hyeong Wook and Kang Ha Joon will portray Hyeon Woo Seok.

If Wishes Could Kill: Jeon So Young as Yoo Se Ah

Netflix subscribers can see Jeon So to play the role of Yoo Se Ah, a rising star on the track and field team at Seorin High School. She carries a caring nature and always steps in when a friend is in trouble. Moreover, she works hard to uncover the secret behind Girigo. Her boyfriend, Kim Gun, grows uneasy as her obsession with the curse of the app deepens.

Yoo Se becomes a target when she starts seeking the dark truth behind the app. The dark truth is tied to the strange death of a classmate. She fights to protect her friends and tries to stop the deadly chain of events set off by the app throughout the story.

Baek Sun Ho will play the role of Kim Gun Woo in If Wishes Could Kill. Kim Gun is in a secret relationship with Yoo Se Ah. As Yoo Se Ah becomes deeply drawn into the mystery of the wish-granting app Girigo, Kim Gun Woo watches their lives begin to fall apart. Even as strange events unfold because of the curse, Gun Woo tries to protect her girlfriend and joins the group in their fight to uncover the truth behind the deadly countdowns.

In If Wishes Could Kill, Lee Hyo Je will appear as Choi Hyeong Wook. The character is the pivotal member of the group of five friends at Seorin High. His life takes a dark turn when he makes a wish on the app. In addition, his wish unexpectedly comes true, but at a deadly cost. The app triggered a terrifying countdown to his own death.
