Apple TV's popular psychological thriller series, Imperfect Women, is not suitable for children below 17 years of age. It has a TV-MA rating in the US. While in Singapore it bears an M18 rating, and in Argentina, children below 16 are not advised to watch it.

The series contains several mature themes like n**ity, violence, and intense scenes that can harm/pollute a child's mind. For instance, a scene consists of several n*de paintings that are quite inappropriate for children. Apart from that, since this is a murder mystery, some gory and frightening sequences might be too intense for young minds.

The show follows three long-term best friends who met during their college days, Elenaor, Mary, and Nancy. Nancy is married to Robert, a wealthy man. Nancy lives a comfortable life, but her family equations remain wonky. Mary is a stay-at-home mother, and she is married to Howard, who at times becomes quite overbearing. Eleanor is single, and she runs a group of hunger relief organizations. They have been for each other through thick and thin, but one incident changes their lives forever.

However, their lives are turned upside down when one of them is found murdered. Nancy is found mysteriously murdered in a park. Since it's also a murder mystery, expect discussions about her death, funeral, and some glimpses of the body in the morgue. As the investigation proceeds, the tension rises.

Apart from that, the series also steps into themes like infidelity, trauma, emotional manipulation, and more. The language is strong and meant for a mature audience. The show is a slow burn, yet it takes the viewers on an emotional rollercoaster.
