Doctor X: Mafia in White Episode 7 recap: Su-jeong saves Sang-beom after learning his secret

In Episode 7, the doctors save Sang-beom and give him an injection to stabilize him. As I watched the episode, I saw Su-jeong reveal that Sang-beom wanted to die, and that's why he agreed to the surgery in the first place.
Later, the doctors reenact the whole incident with Sang-beom, and we get to know what happened to him in the past. The surgery eventually happens, and Su-jeong saves him. But it turns out it was not a bullet, but Sang-beom's brother's bone fragment, which she explains to the director later on.
As the episode continues, we see Sang-beom going missing as the doctors start looking out for him. Turns out, he was sitting in a restaurant watching the press conference. Towards the end of the episode, we hear the words "code blue" as it is announced that the former president, who was admitted to the hospital, has passed away after a cardiac arrest.
Doctor X: Mafia in White Episode 8 recap: Su-jeong takes on a solo surgery

Doctor X: Mafia in White Episode 8 shows Su-jeong and the doctors operating on a teddy bear for a kid who has malignant myofibroblastoma and who asks them to save her teddy bear. Hence, they fake the surgery. As I watched the episode, I also saw the doctor reveal that the kid knows no one can operate on her, and hence, she wants Su-jeong to take care of the teddy bear. At the same time, we also see a flashback of Su-jeong happily talking to the children in the past.
Later, the doctor talks about a ten-year-old kid having ganglioneuroblastoma whose surgery is scheduled for the next day. However, the doctors go on strike, leaving the pediatric center short-staffed.
The government issues an order to revoke the medical license of any medical professional participating in the strike. In the end, Su-jeong, seeing no way out, decides to perform a solo surgery on the kid.
Doctor X: Mafia in White Episode 8 recap: Director Bu questions Su-jeong's identity
While everything was already scheduled, Su-jeong's day takes an unexpected turn when she learns that Dr. Hwang has collapsed in the OR, and she decides to take over the surgery. We also see other doctors admiring her for the first time, as they believe that she is obsessed with saving lives and not with just doing the surgery, which is the reason why she is always ready to perform and save her patients.
As she finishes one surgery and goes to her scheduled OR to perform another surgery, we also see Director Bu talking about Doctor X to Su-jeong's agent. However, Su-jeong's agent denies knowing anything about it. He asks one more time if Doctor X and Su-jeong are the same person. But the episode leaves us on a cliffhanger as Su-jeong's agent turns towards him to speak up.
