Inside the Eternally Yours cast: Meet the stars in CBS’ new vampire comedy

Eternally Yours is CBS' newest supernatural family sitcom, created by Ghosts' creators Joe Port and Joe Wiseman. Before the duo's spooky sitcom returns with a Halloween special on October 29, the new vampire comedy is here to entertain you. The sitcom debuted its Pilot on CBS on October 8, which introduced the 500-year-old vampire Charles, his vampire wife Liz and their immortal family.

According to IMDb, the official synopsis for the series reads as follows:

"Follows the journey of a married vampire couple struggling to accept their daughter's human boyfriend, after being together for 500 years."

The Eternally Yours ensemble helps shape its blend of comedy, fantastical elements, and character-driven storytelling, giving viewers a glimpse into the personalities behind its immortal world.

Eternally Yours cast: Meet the main couples

1) Ed Weeks as Charles Blythe and Allegra Edwards as Liz Blythe

Weeks and Edwards are at the heart of the Eternally Yours cast. According to Parade, Charles is a 500-year-old vampire who has been married to Liz for almost five centuries. Charles and Liz first met in 1526 in Austria, where he changed Liz and that's when their forever (literally) started.

English actor Ed Weeks, best known for playing Dr. Jeremy Reed in the Fox/Hulu comedy series The Mindy Project, takes on the role of Charles. While Charles once loved his wife deeply, his immortal existence and the monotony of his domestic life with Liz have taken a toll on his marriage.

American actress Allegra Edwards, best known for playing Cindy McCabe in the USA Network anthology series Briarpatch, steps into the role of Liz, Charles' vampire wife. While Liz had asked Charles to turn her into a vampire, she no longer enjoys their monotonous lives. Additionally, Liz feels Charles is unsupportive of her career as a history professor, which adds another complication in their relationship.

2) Helen J. Shen as Emma and Jaren Lewison as Max

Shen and Lewison are the next main additions to the Eternally Yours cast. American actress Helen J. Shen, who recently appeared in The Devil Wears Prada 2, plays Charles and Liz's adoptive vampire daughter, Emma, who works as a vet.

Jaren Lewison, best known for playing Ben Gross in Netflix's teen series Never Have I Ever, takes on the role of Max, a human criminal investigator working for the Social Security Administration.

Things took a turn in the sitcom's premiere when Max crossed paths with Emma, striking up an unusual romance between a vampire and a human. While Max is eager to meet Emma's family, she is naturally keeping them a secret, which will surely create plenty of laughs in upcoming episodes.

3) Parker Young as Jesse Blythe and Rose Abdoo as Phyllis

Charles and Liz are not the only unusual couple in Eternally Yours. American actor Parker Young, best known for playing Ryan Shay on the ABC sitcom Suburgatory, plays Jesse, Charles' vampire brother, who works as a fitness trainer in a gym. While Charles is unhappy in his marriage, Jesse's biggest problem is the mirrors in his gym. To maintain his secret vampire identity, Jesse spray tans himself so that he does not disappear in the mirrors.

American actress Rose Abdoo, best known for playing local mechanic, Gypsy, in Gilmore Girls, plays Jesse's human wife, Phyllis, who is unaware of her household's immortality. Despite sharing two half-vampire, half-human sons with Jesse, Phyllis is unaware that her husband is a vampire. This is because Jesse wipes Phyllis' mind each time she starts to get suspicious, maintaining the supernatural facade of the household.

Here is the supporting cast in Eternally Yours

In addition to the main stars, the Eternally Yours cast includes Shylo Molina and Tristan Michael Brown as Henry and Mort, respectively, Jesse and Phyllis' half-vampire, half-human sons.

Molina, who played Sam Morrison in Netflix's psychological thriller Deadly Illusions, plays Henry, who shows impressive vampire abilities. Henry positions himself as a capable member of the family, continuing its vampire legacy.

Tristan Michael Brown, best known for playing Carson in the 2023 teen horror series Pretty Freekin Scary, plays Mort, who is not naturally gifted like his brother.
