Invincible Season 4 Episode 5 voice cast and characters: Here's who brought the adult animated superhero series to life

Invincible Season 4 Episode 5, "Give Us a Moment", was a 51-minute episode in which the latter half of the episode was filled with brutal fights. Additionally, the episode marks the debuts of two new characters: Tech Jacket/Zoe Thompson and her father, Edward Thompson. Therefore, the official synopsis of the fifth Invincible Season 4 episode reads:

"Mark embarks on a new and dangerous mission, throwing Debbie into a tailspin and plunging Eve into uncertainty."

• Steve Yeun (Mark Grayson/Invincible)

Yeun has been around in the Prime Video animated series since its very beginning in 2021. Mark has been through a lot over the four seasons of Invincible. Every season finale has seen Mark in one violent and bloody fight or another. The season 3 finale involved Mark battling with Conquest, a high-ranking Viltrumite warrior.

The latest Invincible Season 4 episode saw a brutal fight between the feared Viltrumite warrior and Mark, which ended with his fate held in the balance as Conquest punched a hole into his body. Speaking of conquest:

• Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Conquest)

Conquest may have died in the closing minutes of this Invincible Season 4 episode. It is uncertain because Conquest came back from the brutal damage of the season 3 finale as well. Therefore, we won't learn any further until next week's sixth episode. Ever since Jeffrey Dean Morgan's debut in the third season, fans have been calling Invincible a The Walking Dead reunion, something Robert Kirkman addressed in a Variety interview last week:

"I’m always trying to find roles for the actors that I know and love and want to work with again. I’m always trying to find something for Jeffrey. When he started showing up on “The Boys,” I couldn’t let Eric Kripke have all the fun. At some point, it became, “When we get to Conquest, Jeffrey Dean Morgan would be perfect for that.” I didn’t hesitate just because there is the meta of it all like, “Oh, it’s the rematch between Glenn and Negan, and now Glenn gets to win.” Something about it seemed fun and interesting. You worry about those kind of things taking people out of the show, but once you’re in it and you’re paying attention, it’s not necessarily something that occurs to you. I don’t think it ruins the episode or anything, but I think it enhances things and puts an extra level of stakes on it. For anybody who’s a longtime “Walking Dead” fan, it’s a nice bit of justice."

• J.K. Simmons (Omni-Man/Nolan Grayson)

J.K. Simmons' Omni-Man has been one of the biggest highlights of Invincible since the beginning. Which is why a lot of fans were disappointed by less and less Omni-Man in seasons 2 and 3. However, it seems that Nolan will be a huge part of Invincible Season 4. It seems that Nolan is joining his sons in delivering a death blow to the Viltrumite empire.

• Christian Convery (Oliver)

Oliver was introduced in the second season as Omni-Man's son with another alien species. He was a baby in that season, and as Omni-Man was taken prisoner by Viltrumites in season 2, Oliver's mother requested Mark to take him to Earth. Mark's alien DNA makes him grow faster than the usual humans, which is why he is a teenager in the third season. Therefore, Christian Convery voices Oliver in the ongoing season.

• Zoey Deutch (Tech Jacket/Zoe)

Tech Jacket was first seen in the third season as an armored hero fighting Mark's evil variants in the multiversal war. This episode finally confirms that a young girl named Zoe is underneath the armor. While fans will Tech Jacker an Iron Man pastiche, the hero in truth is a reference to Blue Beetle, where a human is selected by an alien scarab to use the armor.

Zoe is assisted by the Suit's AI, voiced by LeVar Burton, and her father, Edward Thompson (Bobby Moynihan).
