The Top Boy star revealed that Netflix's upcoming spin-off Jaq will focus on her character, and the show will be an intense and extraordinary expansion of the world created by Ronan Bennett. She said,

"She’s definitely going down a very crazy rabbit hole, and I can’t confirm or deny who, what, or whatever’s going on, but all I can say is that it is going to be insane."

The actress added,

"She’s in a completely different environment. So when all of this is kicking off, it’s really drawing her back into a whole heap of craziness that I don’t know if she’s 100% prepared for. She’s just got to figure it out. We know she’s good at figuring things out."

Her statement means that Jaq is placed in a completely different setting, and when everything begins to unfold, it pulls her back into a chaotic situation that she may not be fully ready to handle.

Jasmine also mentioned that she needs to work through it on her own because the audience already knows that she has a strong skill set to solve problems during tough times.

Jasmine added that Jaq is like her baby and explained that she poured a lot of effort into the character. She further admitted that when Top Boy came to an end, her first reaction was to resist it because she believed there were still many important stories left to explore.
