Jimmy Kimmel's summer break brings an all star guest host lineup to ABC’s late night show

Jimmy Kimmel is taking a long summer break, but he is indeed leaving his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, in good hands. The guest-host run will start with Tiffany Haddish, followed by a long list of star guests, which includes Anthony Anderson, Colman Domingo, Ike Barinholtz, and Jelly Roll. As per the new reports, Rosie O'Donnell is also joining the show.

The announcement was made on ABC's press site on June 18, almost two weeks ahead of the schedule change. As reported by Yahoo! Entertainment, fans won't be seeing Kimmel on his late-night show starting June 22.

While the guest hosts are reported to take over the show next month, the network is reported to air repeated episodes for the first week.

Jimmy Kimmel is reportedly taking a two-month summer break from his late-night show. However, this is not the first time he has decided to step away for a long break, as the host has previously also taken similar summer breaks during past years, starting in 2020.

He cleared out the speculation surrounding the break by saying that he is taking the break voluntarily, as it was already planned with ABC, and it wasn't sudden. He was last seen on June 18 before starting his scheduled summer break.

In the past years, the ABC late-night show had many guest hosts, some of whom included Alan Cumming, Kathryn Hahn, Nicole Byer, Hugh Jackman, Martin Short, and Ryan Reynolds.

2) Anthony Anderson

3) Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo is a famous actor and playwright who has been nominated for the Oscars twice. He most recently appeared in Steven Spielberg's movie Disclosure Day as Hugo Wakefield. His famous works include Lincoln, Selma, Fear the Walking Dead, and Euphoria.

4) Ike Barinholtz

6) Rosie O'Donnell
