What is Jury Duty about?

Jury Duty Season 1 dealt with the minute intricacies of a complicated jury trial observed through the juror named Ronald Gladden. Gladden works as a solar contractor.

The story later reveals that his summons for jury duty was nothing but a hoax. All other characters who are part of the case inside the courtroom are all reporting to enact their roles.

This mock documentary-style storytelling makes the sitcom stand out. The second season title, Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, zooms in on a family-run hot sauce venture.

This time, a witness observes all that happens in the case, staying in line with the show's format. The events are told through the eyes of Anthony. Anthony is a fresh hire.

Unaware that the retreat is entirely staged and that everyone around him is an actor, Anthony becomes a participant without even knowing that it is all fake. As the company’s founder prepares to step aside, the retreat turns into a power struggle between corporate ambition and small-business ideals, with the future of the company at stake.

According to a report by Deadline, the season's main thematic engagement will center on David vs Goliath.
