Adolescence actor Stephen Graham is sharing the secrets behind how he gives each character a unique walk. Graham, who played Eddie Miller in Adolescence, Andy Jones in Boiling Point, and Detective Mulligan in Venom: The Last Dance, is known for his acting and bringing different characters to life. For his acting in the Netflix series Adolescence, he earned a BAFTA Award, a Critics' Choice Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award.

During his recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Meyers told Graham that he had heard the actor talk about how he gets into a character by finding a unique way of walking. Graham observes how different people walk, picks a style, and even asks his family to try out new walks.

In response, Graham explained that he doesn't force his family to do it. For him, the first step is to figure out the physical side of a character, and once he has that down, he makes it internal. In another statement, he added that one should:

"Just see the odd one"

He added that he just remembers the information and keeps it in mind for the future.

While showing Seth Meyers how he tries out different walks for his characters on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Stephen Graham explained how a person's walk can say a lot about their personality. He demonstrated that someone who is very confident might walk with their chest pushed out, showing Meyers how that kind of walk looks in practice.

Graham then moved on to a more cocksure walk, adding a little extra attitude to the way he carried himself. Meyers joined in as Graham showed him the difference between the two styles, making it a fun demonstration of how the actor uses small changes in the way he walks to bring his characters to life.

Graham was on Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote his upcoming series, Nocturne, an Apple TV crime thriller series that is scheduled to premiere on October 30.
