This episode will only be available on Paramount’s streaming platform, so viewers need a subscription to watch it. New users can try the service for a week for free, while paid plans start at a basic monthly price, with a more expensive option that also includes Showtime content.

Season 2 follows the same structure as Season 1, with ten episodes total, making Episode 10 the closing chapter. With earlier episodes already released, the story is now heading into its finale. Those who have an Amazon Prime Video subscription can also tune in to Paramount+, but only after paying extra for the content.

What happened in Landman Season 2 episode 9: A quick recap

Episode 9 of Landman Season 2 shows that Angela is struggling to accept that Ainsley is growing up. While her daughter is happy with the cheerleading program and moving into a dorm, like every normal student, Angela thinks this will only distance them.

And when Ainsley finds her roommate is very different from her, she immediately informs her mother. Instead of explaining to her to adjust, Angela disrespects her roommate, ignores the school’s rules, and moves Ainsley out to a hotel.

On the other side, Thomas enjoys spending time with Cheyenne. She was only supposed to help him with therapy but Cheyenne also opens up about her past and even shares her real name with the old man.

At work, Cami suddenly fires Tommy. She believes he is too negative about the offshore project and no longer wants his input. This leaves Tommy without a job and removes him from M-Tex’s future plans.

Cooper is also making risky business decisions about the drilling for oil. And when he learns that Ariana is being attacked at the club where she works, Cooper goes to save her. He beats up the racist man.

Cooper lost control and the man would have died. Police is also called and as episode 9 ends, it looks like there's a lot that Cooper needs to face now. Since Tommy is no longer at M-Tex, he won't be able to use the power to save him.

What to expect from Landman Season 2 episode 10 (finale)?

The finale of Landman Season 2 is expected to feature Tommy facing the worst time as he has been removed from M-Tex, a company he wanted to save after Monty's death and even gave a lot of time.

At the same time, Cooper might face some prison time due to his latest actions. If this happens, Ariana will be left hurt as she and Cooper were planning to get married soon.
