Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 28 Episode 4 recap: Beatrice reports a sexual abuse case

According to TV Fanatic, a clairvoyant named Beatrice (Susannah Flood) reports a sexual abuse case in her home. However, there was no evidence to prove the assault. There is no evidence to prove that the alleged abuser was ever inside her house. Beatrice was a trauma survivor who had killed her abusive father when she was young.
According to Comic Basics, she says that she feels possessed at one point and that helped her fight the attacker. Captain Renee Curry isn't buying any of her lame stories. Curry seems to disbelieve anyone who claims to speak to the dead. She tells Beatrice that when Curry's husband died, her mother-in-law asked her to see a psychic. The psychic told her that her husband missed her, which Curry thought was cold reading.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 28 Episode 4: Beatrice's attacker is her high school lover, and Curry's secret

Griffin began to look through Beatrice's house and was not able to find anyone except Beatrice's mother. The doorbell camera footage showed no one entering or leaving the premises. Beatrice did not want anyone to interrogate her young daughter. After several spooky twists, Griffin, while searching the house, found Beatrice's high school boyfriend in the attic, who decided to camp out at her house to try to convince her to take him back after all these years.
Beatrice's attacker was found to have been her high school lover who had been living in her attic for months. This explained why there was no sign of a break-in. Beatrice had no idea he was there. The police arrested him. Beatrice apologized to Curry for how other psychics treated her in the past. Curry admitted that her anger was never aimed at that woman. She and her husband had been separated when he died. Curry claimed that she and her husband had hidden the separation news from their family.
