Netflix is bringing a brand new thriller to it's tunning collection; Steve Coogan's Legends. Created by Neil Forsyth, the show is bringing six episodes full of crime, a difficult mission and a group of amateurs at the center of it all.
Before you tune in, here's everything you need to know about the show before you dive in.
When and where is Legends going to release?
The show is all set to release on on May 7 with six episodes that will release all together. The show will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
Who stars in the show?

Legends has a pretty star studded cast, led by Tom Burke, who plays Guy, a dissatisfied Heathrow suitcase inspector and frustrated family man who feels like he's capable of more. Talking about his character, Burke has told Tudum,
“I always thought [my character’s] drive was more individual and internal — that he simply needs to do something like this because it’s meaningful and purposeful but also because it’s dangerous, and he craves that. There’s an adrenaline junkie in there somewhere. Perhaps somebody else would just go and do a bungee jump, but he needs a bit more than that. It’s like it’s something he’s got to do to be able to get on with the rest of his life.”
Steve Coogan is playing Don, the Head of Operations. In interviews, Coogan has really leaned into what makes this story special as he talked about how the series digs into the psychological side of things, that question of identity and who you become when you're literally living someone else's life.
The supporting lineup is stacked too. Joining Coogan and Burke are Charlotte Ritchie, Hayley Squires, Jasmine Blackborow, Aml Ameen, Douglas Hodge, Tom Hughes, Johnny Harris, and Gerald Kyd.
The series comes from creator and writer Neil Forsyth. Brady Hood directed episodes 1 through 4, while Julian Holmes handled 5 and 6.
What is Legends about?

Set in '90s Britain as drugs flooded the streets, the series follows a group of ordinary British Customs officers given a top-secret mission to go undercover and infiltrate the country's most notorious criminal drug gangs. But the catch is that these weren't trained spies. They were normal men and women, plucked from ordinary lives, put through basic training, and tasked with building new identities in the criminal underworld, which gave the show it's name. The whole arc is inspired by an untold true story which makes it even more intriguing.
Legends will premiere on Netflix on May 7.
