Line of Fire Episode 2 preview hints at missing brother's return, Micah's secret, and more

NBC's Line of Fire Episode 2 is scheduled to release on September 28. Created by Joshua Safran, famous for Quantico, Smash, and Gossip Girl, the series stars Peter Krause, Hope Davis, Tommy O'Brien, Kat Cunning, Charlie Barnett, and Taylor Bloom.

Line of Fire Episode 1, as reported by The Review Geek, introduces viewers to the Hollingsworth family. And interestingly, this is not just a normal family, as it consists of a group of government officials who find themselves involved in a dangerous mystery. On the other hand, their father, Mike, investigates an old assassination case.

The episode takes a surprising turn after Logan, Clare's boyfriend, is attacked. After learning that somebody is after one of the family members, Jane also finds an origami paper crane, leading the head of the family to suspect that Jack, Mike's son, could be behind the attacks.

In the Episode 2 preview, as released on TV Promos on YouTube, viewers see a bank robbery taking place, with Jane and Clare finding themselves on different sides as they try to catch the same man. Meanwhile, Micah adjusts to working with his father.

Line of Fire Episode 2 preview: The missing brother is still alive

Episode 2, titled A Bigger Picture, will reveal a big twist, and that is that Jack is still alive. At the start of the preview, as seen on TV Promos, Jane says that they told the family members that their brother died. But Mike soon tells her that he is alive and they need to reach him before anyone else does.

This could make the search for Jack even more personal, especially with the family now knowing that he is still alive. They might also have to protect him while trying to figure out what happened, adding more pressure to the case. No matter what comes next, the urgency on Mike's and Jane's faces makes it clear that they know time is running out.

Line of Fire Episode 2 preview: Marshals and FBI clash

Line of Fire Episode 2 is also expected to focus on a bank robbery, with both the FBI and U.S. Marshals working to catch the man behind it. We know that Jane is a U.S. Marshal and Clare is an FBI agent. And instead of working together, this will create a clash between the two, putting them on opposite sides. It will be interesting to see who takes the lead and how Jane and Clare handle being on opposite sides while still having to work through the case as a family.

Line of Fire Episode 2 preview: Micah hides a secret relationship

Micah is Jane and Mike's son and works as a Secret Service agent. In the preview for Episode 2, he is seen in bed with another woman, hinting at a secret relationship. Episode 2 will show Micah trying to balance his work. However, he seems to be dealing with family pressure. This also means his personal life could start affecting his work.

Line of Fire airs on NBC and is available to stream on Peacock the next day.
