Paramount+'s American spy thriller, Lioness Season 3, is gearing up for a new episode. Episode 7, titled Kiss the Girls, will release on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Written by Taylor Sheridan, the penultimate episode of Lioness Season 3 will set the stage for the finale scheduled to release on September 20. The synopsis of Lioness Season 3 Episode 7 reads,

Lioness Season 3 Episode 7 is expected to be one of the most intense chapters of the season. The central mystery remains Joe McNamara's kidnapping, and the CIA team is finally getting closer to who planned the attack on her family and the wider conspiracy behind it. Episode 7 will begin on a chaotic note as Kaitlyn and Westfield work to arrange a big rescue operation following the massive cliffhanger in Texas.

With Joe still confined and under pressure from her kidnappers, CIA chiefs must violate conventional protocol to find her before time runs out. Lioness Season 3 Episode 7 spoilers: A breakthrough or a mission gone horribly wrong

The trailer for Lioness Season 3 Episode 7 is out. According to the trailer, the QRF team is likely to launch a more aggressive rescue operation. Tucker, Kyle, and the rest of the unit will feel personally responsible for bringing Joe home.

The viewers might finally find out major clues about who is behind the abduction and why. This season's non-linear storytelling has hidden parts of the timeline, but Zoe Saldaña has hinted that the pieces will slowly come together. Operation Treasure has uncovered details about Russian assets, and Episode 7 could reveal how deep the infiltration goes and whether someone is working as an insider in the US government and helped with Joe's abduction.

With the FBI and other agencies questioning the Lioness program methods, Kaitlyn may face intense scrutiny. Lioness Season 3 Episode 6: A short recap

In the previous episode, we learned more about Joe's kidnapping. The episode teases that Iran might be behind Joe's abduction.

Viewers found out that Renat, the SVR man connected to the Russian embassy, was offered a lump sum to stop CIA senior case officer Joe; he apparently took the money. He then hired Belarusian contract agents to kidnap Joe. They used the Russian exfil playbook to confuse the CIA about Iran's involvement.

Renat handed over Joe to Babat, the Iranian agent. Babat then promised to keep her alive. Babat cut off one of her toes and took her away in a car.

In the past timeline, Secretary of State Edwin Mullins calls Senator Ryan Olson for a meeting, where he is confronted by Kaitlyn, Meade, Byron Westfield, and Joe. The team discusses Oleksandra Balakin, who is now in witness protection, while Kyle argues that it is meaningless because Russian intelligence can hack into the databases.

The story then moves to the present timeline, where Kyle tracks Balakin to Tulsa, where she has been living as Paige Weaver. She is told about Joe's kidnapping, and Balakin helps them to locate Joe.

Balakin explained how Iran could be involved. She understood from Kyle's expression that Joe had been involved in a major operation against Iran. She further explained how Belarusian contract agents used the playbook. She guessed that Joe might be taken to Houston's private terminal.

Kyle's team locates the jet, and during the interrogation of the first officer, three more men walk towards them. Grady and Cody K put all three of them down, and the pilot kills himself. The aircraft is neutralized. While Tex and Randy go through the safe house list, they pull up outside the house where Joe is being held.

Randy wanted to clear it, but Whelan ordered them to investigate the suspected location first. As they drove away, Babat took Joe away. It seemed like Babat had changed his plans.
