The storyline of the drama revolves around a demon who comes with great powers and is on a new mission. While he has no experience in love, his life takes a turn after he meets a room attendant, Lee Deul Pan, while completing his new mission in Korea.

She has done a number of famous projects in the past, some of which include What Comes After Love, The Red Sleeve, and Memorist. He also recently appeared in the role of Seon Han Gyeol, Jae Gyu’s nephew, in the series Spring Fever, released this year. The upcoming drama, directed by Lee Jeong Hyo, follows the demon's and the room attendant's love story set in a supernatural setting, along with focusing on real emotions that people can connect with.

The drama is written by Jung Hyun-jung, who has also written Lovestruck in the City, Romance is a Bonus Book, and Our Blooming Youth.

As of now, there's no confirmed release date announced by Netflix for Long Vacation. Based on the previously released dramas produced by Netflix, the series might take around a year to complete production. This points to a possible release window late this year or more likely sometime next year.

However, this is just a speculation based on the previous dramas and can only be confirmed once the official date is announced by the production house. It will be available only on Netflix, which comes with a subscription-based model.

The series is reported to have twelve episodes in total, following the usual format of the Korean dramas. Each episode will have an expected runtime between sixty and seventy minutes.

Additionally, Netflix has released photos from the production of Long Vacation, showing the lead actors reading the script.
