Fans seemed to be hooked on the latest fantasy Chinese drama, Love Beyond the Grave, featuring Dilraba Dilmurat as He Si Mu and Arthur Chen as Duan Xu. It follows the story of a 400-year-old spirit ruler, the Ghost Queen and a brave human general named Duan Xu from the web novel written by Li Qing Ran.
Thirteen episodes have come out, with episodes 14-15 of Love Beyond the Grave scheduled to be released today, April 2, 2026. The C-drama follows a release pattern of two episodes everyday which fans can watch on Viki, WeTV and Tencent Video.
The story begins with He Si Mu as a Ghost Queen, who rules the spirit world. Unlike others, she cannot feel anything, including tastes, emotions, smell or anything that a human senses. In the latest episodes 12 and 13 of Love Beyond the Grave, He Si Mu is no longer the untouchable spirit ruler and becomes an easy target for those who already distrust her. With enemies like Daoist Mingfeng and the fake He Xiaoxiao, dangers are on the way.
She realizes the risk and sends Chenying away for his safety and entrusts him with her spirit lantern, a symbol of her identity and power. Duan Xu senses that something is wrong and rushes back to protect her. Despite his own loss of physical senses, he focuses on keeping He Si Mu safe.
This way, the two become dependent on each other. In episode 13, we see that their feelings are growing. Now that He Si Mu can also feel emotions and taste food, she drinks a lot and ends up becoming intoxicated.
This allows her to feel emotions deeply and see her getting this close, Duan Xu finds it hard to keep a distance. In the final moment of the episode, he ends up kissing her.
