Love Beyond the Grave episodes 20-21 recap and what to expect from the next episodes

In episode 20 of Love Beyond the Grave, Duan Xu is trapped in a deadly situation while Yan Ke continues to manipulate events behind the scenes. At the same time, He Simu gives in to her feelings for a brief moment.

They get closer but He Si Mu pulls herself away as she knows the consequences. Duan Xu loves staying by her side but it won't come without dangers. Later in episode 21, the two step into a dreamlike space, and they experience a rare sense of normal life together.

But reality intrudes as Yan Ke interferes, and the dangers surrounding them become impossible to ignore. In a painful but deliberate choice, He Simu erases Duan Xu’s memories of her, believing it’s the only way to protect him and end something that was never meant to last.

While He Si Mu is trying to protect Duan Xu and keep her powers, Duan Xu won't stop until he reunites her and finds a way for them to stay together. The C-drama has completed half of its run, which means the story will continue to get intense as there will be more battles.

Yan Ke is obsessed with He Si Mu, and he won't let anyone get easily close to her. And when He Si Mu learns about his plans, she won't let Yan Ke take control of the situation.
