Love in Disguise Episode 5 brings new questions about the secretary's murder while also showing a change in Yi-Jun and Jae-Hee's relationship.
In the episode, Jae-Hee learns that Yi-Jun did not kill the secretary. However, the team still has no idea who is behind the murder. Meanwhile, they finally find a phone hidden inside a desk and plan to send it for forensic testing. The episode also introduces Lee Si-a, Yi-Jun's fiancée, adding another twist to the story.

Love in Disguise Episode 5 recap: Jae-Hee learns more about Yi-Jun and the murder
In Love in Disguise Episode 5, Yi-Jun tries to wake up Jae-Hee, but even after trying his best, she doesn't wake up. Once she wakes up, she finds Yi-Jun sitting by her side. As I watched the episode, I also saw Jae-Hee being all confused about the clothes she was wearing, and she even apologized to Yi-Jun as she tried to remember what happened between the two. We also get to see a new character, Lee Si-a, who is Yi-Jun's fiancée.
Later, Jae-Hee reveals to her team that Yi-Jun didn't kill the secretary, as he admitted it himself. This leads to new speculation that the killer is someone else who is targeting Yi-Jun, as we saw in the previous episode. The team even finds it weird that after Chairman Yoon withdrew the succession plan, Yoon Na-Jung immediately met lawyer Kim Si-Hyun.

In Episode 5, I also saw Yi-Jun asking Jae-Hee to maintain distance, and he even asked her to take ten steps back. But Yi-Jun suddenly finds her expression cute. However, Yi-Jun later gives her a hard time as he starts finding mistakes in everything and asks her not to argue back.
On the other hand, it seems like everyone is behind the second phone that the secretary had, including Kim Si-hyun. The team also finds the chief secretary a bit weird and sketchy. It is revealed that Na-Jung wants the lawyer to bring her Park Min-hwan in exchange for telling him what he wants to know.
The team starts finding more information and learns that Na-Jung also runs Taekang Chemicals alongside Taekang Hotels.
Love in Disguise Episode 5 recap: Jae-Hee discovers the hidden phone
While the episode mainly focused on Yi-Jun and Jae-Hee's equation and the questions regarding the second phone, we finally get the answer to where the phone is. Jae-Hee collapses her desk by mistake, and she learns that somebody else has also put in the request for desk replacement.
Seeing the opportunity, she raises a replacement request and calls her team member, who helps her get inside the room. Jae-Hee enters the room and matches the product number and learns that the application was requested by Lee Hye-Jung. She checks the desk thoroughly and finds the second phone there.
Later, Jae-Hee gives the phone to Seok-Jin. While they are talking, Yi-Jun sees them together as Seok-Jin gently touches Jae-Hee's hair. They plan to give the phone to forensics. Suddenly, Yi-Jun calls Jae-Hee, who asks Seok-Jin to leave. As Yi-Jun approaches her, he kisses her, leaving Jae-Hee surprised.
