The tense Boston bar meeting on Love Is Blind Season 11 took an even more uncomfortable turn when fans noticed that one of Rob Feeley's friends made a shocking 'racist' remark following his handshake with Michaella.
In the ninth episode of Netflix's reality dating series, Rob and Michaella met some of Rob's friends at a Boston bar. Things took a disastrous turn after Rob lashed out at the producers over not serving alcohol to one of his friends. Amid the tense exchange, Love Is Blind fans also called out one of Rob's friends for an inappropriate remark. After Michaella allegedly wiped her hand following their handshake, the friend said:
"You, like, washed your hand like I am from Harlem."

Love Is Blind fans lash out at Rob's friend's racist comments
While the Boston bar encounter in Love Is Blind Season 11 Episode 9 was extremely tense, fans have noticed a new detail. Fans believe that Rob Feeley's friend's Harlem remarks, after a handshake with Michaella, subtly expose his racism, which has shocked them.
In addition to Rob's friend being subtly disrespectful to Michaella and the whole fiasco over not being served alcohol, Love Is Blind fans think Rob's friend is racist, given that he had a Black friend in his company.
A Reddit user was certainly disgusted by the comments:
"What was up with the racist comment: “you avoided touching my hands like I was just in Harlem” next to the Black guy friend! Boy, bye."
Another X user agreed that the Harlem comment was purely racist and felt it strange that the Black friend did not call him out on the matter but laughed after the comment:
"Bruhhh my exact thoughts. Their token black friend just sat there and took it like a chump."
The outrage did not end here. An X user from Harlem was especially outraged by Rob's friend's comments and shared their experience at Boston College:
"Having gone to Boston College and being from Harlem, I have met idiots like this from LoveIsBlindBoston. He said: “you’re wiping your hands (after shaking my hand) like I’m from Harlem.” What do you think he meant? Completely RACIST."
Some Love Is Blind fans spoke about the racist pattern in the city after the racist comments. An X user said:

In addition to calling out Rob's friend over his racist remarks, Love Is Blind fans are lashing out at the 40-year-old AI Infrastructure Sales professional for tolerating such disrespect in front of his fiancée.
