Love Is Blind: Michaella says she “cannot marry” Rob after his aggressive outbursts

In Love Is Blind Season 11 Episodes 9 and 10, Michaella ends her engagement to Rob after his repeated angry outbursts leave her upset and scared. Rob's behavior first becomes a concern when he takes Michaella to meet his friends at a bar in Boston and brings up the time Michaella said he was aggressive when he pulled her earring.

Later, during a group meeting, Michaella tries to talk to him privately, but he tells her to sit down and continues raising his voice in front of everyone, leaving her upset. In the end, she decides to end her engagement and tells Erika:

"We're not getting married. I cannot marry this man under any circumstances. I cannot marry him at this point."

That night, Michaella ends the engagement, and Rob packs his things and returns to Rhode Island, leaving her behind after their repeated arguments.

Michaella ends her engagement to Rob in Love Is Blind Season 11

In Love Is Blind Season 11 Episode 9, Rob goes to meet Michaella's parents, and during the conversation, they bring up the topic of marriage. Michaella's mother asks Rob if he is ready to be married, and he says yes. The meeting goes well, with both of them smiling and saying they are ready to get married and share their lives with each other. Later, Michaella's mother also tells her that she prayed that her daughter would get someone who would love her the same way she did in her partnership, and she can see the same in Rob.

Michaella also meets Rob's close friends in Love Is Blind Season 11, and they all get along well. Michaella tells Rob's friends that she wants a partner with whom she can keep growing in life. She wants them to become richer and hotter together in their lives.

She adds that she has all the information she needs, and there's really nothing that's going to change her mind now that she's met his friends and family. But the good time soon turns into an argument as Rob asks Michaella about that one time when she said he was aggressive when he pulled her earrings. Michaella says that she wasn't lying at that time, as he grabbed her face, which led to her earrings being pulled, though he did not do it on purpose. He then asks her if he was aggressive towards her, and Michaella says no.

Rob also talks to his friends about the same incident where Michaella said he was aggressive towards her and pulled her earrings. He says they later went to a hotel room, where he told her that he had never been aggressive towards her before. Rob adds that Michaella then apologized and told him that he was right. Michaella, in response, said that she did apologize for that.

In Love Is Blind Season 11 Episode 9, Michaella seemed upset with how Rob talked to her and told her that she has a lot to gain professionally from being on the show, a comment she takes as an insult. She says that while she loves her career, she is there for Rob. She adds:

"We're here to fall in love and find love and get married. And it doesn't really feel like there's much room for me inside of his emotions and mental state."

At a group mixer, Rob gets upset, raises his voice at Michaella, and worries that the show will make him look bad, leaving her overwhelmed and in tears. She goes to the bathroom with Erika, and through tears, she says,

"I don't deserve any of what I'm getting. I feel like he hates me."

She adds:

"I love him. It's just a lot. And we're not getting married. I cannot marry this man under any circumstances. I cannot marry him at this point."

Rob asks her what he did to make her uncomfortable, and she says she wants to go home and think. The two got into a fight, and the argument only escalated as Rob brought Diana into it; Michaella then ended things with him.

In Love Is Blind, Michaella tells Erika that after she went home, he left for Rhode Island and left her alone. She adds that he didn't show up for her and picked the meanest things to say to her. Towards the end, she says that it was a beautiful relationship and that the bond they shared was strong, and she was genuinely happy with him after the engagement, but she doesn't hate him and only wishes he had more consideration for her.
