Love Is Blind season 11 has lost its only happily ever after couple

Love Is Blind season 11's only married couple, John and Sarah, have called it quits, according to a report by TMZ. The court documents reportedly showed that Sarah filed the papers on June 4. The reason, according to the report, was an "irretrievable breakdown" of the relationship and marriage.

The rumors about a possible split between Sarah and John were already making rounds on social media after a podcaster shared the alleged tea about the couple.

John and Sarah said "I do" at the altar during the finale episode of Love Is Blind season 11. Their relationship became a talking point amongst viewers, especially after John's controversial comments regarding vaccines, women's right to abortion, and healthcare.

John later released a statement on his Instagram clarifying his comments on the show and stressed that he was not an "anti-vaxxer" and believed in women's right to choose.

Love Is Blind's Sarah and John's divorce rumors were already making rounds on social media

Before TMZ released the official court documents about the couple's separation, reality television correspondent @StorytimeWithRikkii shared inside news about the couple, Sarah and John, on social media even before the final episode aired, as per Cosmopolitan.

According to a report in Cosmopolitan, her unverified "spoilers" about the reunion claimed that John and Sarah were not together because John was caught texting inappropriate messages to an escort. The report also suggests the relationship was an "emotional affair."

There were several other claims about the reunion reportedly made by the reality television podcaster, but they have yet to be verified.

A preview of the reunion, released at the end of the show's final episode, promised many revelations. Host Nick and Vanessa Lachey were seen asking the couples tough questions about their relationships.

The truth behind the split between John and Sarah would be revealed during the reunion episode of Love Is Blind.

John and Sarah got married in an emotional ceremony during the finale of Love Is Blind season 11

John and Sarah shared emotional words for each other at the altar. Sarah reminisced about their early dates in the pods and how John was reluctant to keep talking to her. She admitted that she had never been so confident about being with someone, and that John brought out the best in her.

John also got emotional and admitted that he never thought he could "fall in love" with someone he had never seen or spoken to, "through a wall."

John and Sarah promptly said "I do" to each other during the wedding ceremony. John stated in his confessional after the ceremony:

"I might have been happy-ish by myself but not even close to how happy I could be with the right person. I think love is legally blind."

Sarah agreed and said she believed love is blind because they did say "I love you" to one another even before seeing each other.

Love Is Blind's final episode is streaming on Netflix. The reunion will air on November 8, 2026.
