Love Island Season 8 cast update, premiere details and more

Love Island season 7 concluded last year, with Bryan and Amaya taking home the $100,000 grand prize. The runners-up were Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe while Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley successfully secured the third place.

The year-long wait of fans was finally answered when the official renewal announcement was made this year on March 13. The show is heading back to screens on June 2 on Peacock, featuring Ope and 11 other cast members.

A new group of Islanders will soon step into the villa and be ready to couple up. They will come from all over the UK and Ireland. In addition, Mama Jama will once again join Love Island Season 8 as the host and lead the Mallorca Villa.

The cast of Love Island Season 8 has been officially revealed. The group will include a mix of students, teachers, models, and even a real estate videographer. Let's read more about the casts in the new season.

Ope

He is 27 years old and a West End performer from Lincolnshire. He is a fun and loving personality but avoids people with negative energy. Ope likes shorter girls and pays attention to hair, nice smiles, and teeth. He prefers Northerners because he thinks they have better banter.

Jasmine

Jasmine is also the same age as Ope but runs a fashion business in Dubai and London. She is looking for a hot partner who will also be charismatic and confident. Jasmine explained that insecure men wouldn't be able to handle her and she can spot insecurity right away. She believes that insecure men would probably end up hating her.

Adian

Adian is a property broker from Kent who is hoping to meet a funny person. The person should not take life too seriously. Adian doesn't like controlling behavior and wants a partner with a relaxed and easygoing vibe. He shares about the show.

"I haven’t really dated much and have only been on a couple of dates........so it hasn’t really taken off yet..........Hopefully being in the Villa will turn things around."

Lola

She is a 28-year-old detective who is looking for a tall Italian guy. According to her, personality and looks matter the most. She likes smart and attentive people, and wants someone to care for her. Her biggest turn-offs in life are her cliches and arrogance and she doesn't like men who act cocky and arrogant.

Samuel

Samuel is an electrician from Dudley who is looking for a genuine connection from the new season. He stays away from people who are loud or like to get into a debate or argument. Samuel likes to describe himself as:

“I’m competitive in everything I do.....so competition doesn’t bother me.”

He doen't want to sound arrogant, but outside the Viila, he usually doesn't chase girls. Samuel is very much aware that things work differently inside the Villa.

Angelista

The new season of the reality show is also introducing a nurse from Staffordshire, Angelista. She is looking for a patient and steady partner. Angelista dislikes people who always want attention.

Moreover, she avoids drama because she is non-confrontational and enjoys watching it from the sidelines, but doesn't want to be a part of it. She will show interest so guys will notice her, but she won't chase or beg for attention.
