What is Love Phobia about?
The story revolves around Yun Bi A, a character played by Yeon Woo, who is a programmer in the series. She finds a perfect romantic match in AI, which feels as genuine and honest as real-life love is. On the other hand, she doesn't believe in love in real life. She is also the CEO of the VR dating company.
The other main lead, Han Seon Ho, a character played by Kim Hyun Jin, is a writer who believes in the traditional world and romance, not one driven by machines. This makes him totally opposite to the female lead, who is driven by the digital world.
In the teaser, Bi A says:
"Some people might call what we make 'fake,' but even a perfect 'fake' is exactly what someone needs."
Bi A and Seon Ho don't get along because of their differences. However, the two start to develop feelings for each other after Bi A's secret is revealed. Towards the end of the teaser, she says,
"Can I bet my destiny on this man?"
The storyline is pretty different from a usual rom-com, as it mixes romance with artificial intelligence. Instead of focusing only on a basic romance story, the drama shows how and why Bi A trusts machines more than people and what will make her change her decision to believe in real love.
Viewers will come to know complete details about the drama once it releases. As of now, the creators have not revealed the details of the other characters in the drama.
