Love Story release schedule: When do new episodes of FX's romance series drop?

Love Story is Ryan Murphy's latest romantic anthology series that is inspired by Elizabeth Beller's book Once Upon A Time: The Captivating Life of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. Developed by Connor Hines, the series charts the whirlwind courtship and marriage of the son of the 35th U.S. president, John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.

The nine-part series releases weekly episodes on FX and Hulu every Thursday. The official synopsis for the series reads as follows:

''The series explores the undeniable chemistry, whirlwind courtship and high-profile marriage of one of the most iconic couples of the 20th century, John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.''

John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette's love story is brought to life by Paul Anthony Kelly and Sarah Pidgeon, who play JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, respectively. The additional ensemble cast for the series includes Naomi Watts, Alessandro Nivola, Grace Gummer, Leila George, and Sydney Lemmon.

Ryan Murphy's latest romance anthology series debuted with a 3-episode premiere on FX on February 12. Following this, Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette releases weekly episodes every Thursday on FX and Hulu at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. The first installment of the anthology series contains nine episodes.

Four episodes of the series are already out, which are currently streaming on Hulu and Disney+. What is Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette about?

As the name suggests, Love Story dramatizes the tragic love tale of JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, the most iconic couple of the 20th century. The recently released four episodes introduced John Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn's contrasting worlds and their collision is epic. These two individuals lead very different lives but they are instantly drawn to each other when they lock eyes at a party. As John continues to display his affections for Carolyn by sending her flowers at her workplace, she initially rejects his advances because of his power and position. However, she eventually caves in and the couple initiates a passionate relationship, which is dissected by the media and the public at every turn.

The series also explores the complicated relationship between John Jr. and his mother, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, the former first lady of the United States, who disapproves of his romantic partners. The junior Kennedy struggles with the weight of his legacy at every turn, especially after his mother passes away. The family maintains a calm facade in public but both John and Caroline are devastated after their mother's death, which brings the former closer to Carolyn.

The upcoming episode of Love Story (Episode 5) is set to dramatize the Battery Park incident from February 1996, where JFK Jr. and Carolyn were photographed having a heated argument in a New York park. The incident, which is still etched in people's memories, made headlines and highlighted their complicated yet passionate love.
