Heated Rivalry (2025-present)

Created by Jacob Tierney, based on the book Game Changers by Rachel Reid, Heated Rivalry took over the internet when it first premiered on Crave and HBO Max in late 2025. Like Off Campus, the show is also about the love lives of ice hockey players. Heated Rivalry follows Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, two rival ice hockey players, and their secret relationship over the years.

This relationship first begins as something strictly sexual, but it then develops into an intense love story neither of them saw coming. The story spans several years, and we get to see how their relationship develops over the years as they also struggle with not being able to come out given how not queer-friendly the hockey world is. Season 2 of the show has been confirmed. Heated Rivalry is streaming on HBO Max.

The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022-2025)

Created by Jenny Han based on her novels series of the same name, The Summer I Turned Pretty follows Belly Conklin as she is going to turn sixteen, and visits the Fisher's beach house with her family like she does every summer. This summer is however different as she finally feels seen by her long time crush, Conrad Fisher.

Moreover, her dynamic with both brothers, Conrad and Jeremiah, changes during this summer and the few summers that follow. The show has three seasons and ended in 2025. A sequel film is in production right now. You can stream The Summer I Turned Pretty on Prime Video.

Maxton Hall: The World Between Us (2024-present)

Maxton Hall: The World Between Us is a German romance drama directed by Martin Schreier and Tarek Roehlinger, based on the novel Save Me by Mona Kasten. The show follows Ruby Bell, who gets enrolled at the elite school Maxton Hall on a scholarship. Her time at the school is made extremely difficult by James Beaufort, a rich heir.

The show follows their complicated relationship as they go from being enemies to being completely in love with one another. There is intense build-up before Ruby and James actually get together, and it might be a great watch for viewers who enjoyed the slow-burn romance of Hannah and Garrett in Off Campus. Two seasons of the show are streaming on Prime Video, and a third season has been confirmed.

Bridgerton

Created by Chris Van Dusen, based on the novel series of the same name by Julia Quinn, Bridgerton is a Regency romance drama that follows the love stories of the Bridgerton siblings. While it is set in a different time compared to Off Campus, it features a new couple every season (like Off Campus), steamy scenes fans look forward to, well-established characters and storylines, and love stories that melt one's heart.

There are eight Bridgerton siblings in total, and while the stories of four of them have already been told, Season 5 will follow the love story of Francesca. The first four seasons of Bridgerton are streaming on Netflix. Season 5 is in production.

Created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, The Sex Lives of College Girls follows the lives of four 18-year-old freshmen students at the fictional Essex College in Vermont. They also happen to be roommates, and viewers get to see how they manage to cope with college, their sexually active lives, and the difficulties that come with adulthood.

The show has three seasons, and all three of them are streaming on HBO Max.
