The main cast for Honey, which is allegedly a Killing Eve prequel, has finally been announced, and the cast reveal has gotten fans quite excited about the same. The show is set in the 1980s and follows the journey of an MI6 agent who struggles to keep her identity a secret while also trying to fulfill an undercover mission.

According to Deadline, the lead character of Martha will be played by Ann Skelly, a 29-year-old Irish actress who is well known for her roles in many other shows and TV series.

Alongside Ann Kelly, there are three other actors who have been announced in leading roles for the upcoming spy show, namely Nate Mann as Kurt Fischer, Jannis Niewöhner as Friedrich Bauman, and Rory Kinnear as Graham Anderson.

However, aside from these actors, several others have also been announced as part of the cast list for the Killing Eve prequel, Honey.

Killing Eve prequel Honey is set to feature an ensemble cast of incredible actors in its roster

Killing Eve was released back in 2018 for the first season, and ran successfully for four seasons before finally concluding in 2022. The storyline for the show follows a bored MI5 security officer, named Eve Polastri (played by Sandra Oh), who is tasked with hunting down a psychopathic serial killer by the name of Villanelle (played by Jodie Corner).

The upcoming BBC show, Honey, is supposedly a prequel to Killing Eve, and is set in the late 1980s. This show also follows an MI6 agent who has to solve a complicated mission while also ensuring that her cover remains intact.

Aside from the leading cast members previously mentioned, the show will also feature an ensemble of actors who have an interesting range of work to their name.

The actors include Oliver Cudbill as Stefan Weiss, Sonita Henry as Anne Anderson, Victoria Mayer as Ingrid Schimmel, Valentino Dalle Mura as Rolf Muller, July Namir as Kamilla Akhmedova, Julian Niedermeier as Otto Kowalski, Sofia Oxenham as Greta Abstreiter, and Daniel Zielinski as Tomas Klein.

While the character names and actors have been revealed, no other details about the characters have been revealed so far.

Although an official release date has not yet been announced for Honey, it will premiere sometime in 2026 and will be available to watch on BBC.
