In HBO's Task, Mark Ruffalo plays a determined agent who leads the special task force. Tom Pelphrey appears in the show as Robbie, a family man hiding a dark secret life.

Ruffalo has won two Primetime Emmys out of three career nominations. He won his first Emmy for co-producing The Normal Heart and his second for brilliantly playing the dual roles of Dominick and Thomas Birdsey in I Know This Much Is True. He was also nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor for his reprised role in a Season 4 flashback scene in Ozark in 2022.

After watching Task, one Reddit user, scratchydaitchy, posted.

"Tom Pelphrey was the best part of TASK..... Pelphrey has a magnetic charisma and pathos which makes it impossible for me to look away........He was great in Ozark as Ben with bipolar disorder.........his relationship with Ruth (Julia Garner) was also impossible for me to stop watching."

Another user, SuperBathMan, commented,

"He is incredible in Iron Fist....... Grant Ward is one of my top defenders characters.....especially in season 2."
