In Marshals Episode 6, a ceremony is held on the first anniversary of Monica's death. In the last episode, Kayce decides to find the missing girls on the ceremony, and Tate even says that bringing Hailey back would be the best way to honor Monica if Kayce couldn't make it to the ceremony.

However, the team fails to locate the girls, leaving everyone frustrated, including Tate, who says:

"I don’t need cheering up about the anniversary. I’m not the one avoiding it. I just can’t stop thinking that Hailey would be safe if we had just done something when we saw her. Mom led us to that truck stop, and we didn’t deliver. I disappointed her."

Hailey also told Kayce about Ava's death. Cal steps in to tell Ava's family the sad news, as Miles struggles and is unable to say it himself. At the same time, he is also frustrated with Kayce for letting Hailey go in the last episode after finding her for the second time.

After much investigation, Andrea and Belle find that the truck, which was carrying the girls, was driven by an Iron Sentinels member, a motorcycle gang. Kayce, along with Andrea and Miles, tries to find more information about the gang. Kayce and the team decide to infiltrate the gang, and to gain their attention, Kayce sets his motorcycle on fire.

Marshals Episode 6 recap: The team saves the missing girls

During their investigation in the Marshals episode 6, the team comes to know about an upcoming rally. While this came with the hope for the team to find the missing girls, the only problem was that they had to find a way to get into the rally without alerting anyone.

Belle, who previously worked on a case with the Iron Sentinels, decides to use her own old undercover profile to get in. They also plan to use seized meth as a way to gain the gang's trust and get close to them.

Belle's plan works, as a member of the gang, Brimstone, is okay to sell the meth without suspecting her of being an outsider. Unfortunately, her cover doesn't last long, as another biker from a local casino notices her.

Thankfully, Kayce gets there on time, and together the two dig out information about the girls' location. However, a fight breaks out with Brimstone after the other team members try to stop the rally.

The team manages to win the fight against the motorcycle gang and finally frees the girls who were trapped in the trailer along with the barrels of drugs.

Kayce goes to Monica's memorial ceremony

After solving the case and finding the missing girls, Kayce and his son, Tate, go to Monica's memorial ceremony to pay their respects. On the other hand, Ava's mother thanks Miles for helping her start to process the loss after coming to know about Ava's death.

The episode ends on a peaceful note with Kayce joining the ceremony and supporting Tate. Additionally, he finally starts to accept his loss after avoiding it in the previous episodes. At the end of episode 6, Kayce says:

"Maybe it’s time I start letting go."
