Marshals Season 2 cast: Every returning and new star confirmed so far

Marshals Season 2 isn't too far from its premiere, and before starting the second chapter of the Yellowstone spin-off, fans might want to take a look at who's returning and if the show has added any new faces. And if you've been searching for the same, you're in the right place!

As revealed by Sneak Peak from Paramount+, Season 2 will be released on October 4, 2026, on CBS and will also be available to stream through Paramount+. One important thing about this season is that it does not jump far ahead in time. It begins directly from the unresolved situation at the end of Season 1.

Which means that all key characters, like Kayce, will return. As seen in the Season 1 finale, Cal and Belle from Kayce's team ended up in an ambush, and while they survived, the attack had serious consequences for them and even that Marshals unit. So, Season 2 will begin with the characters already dealing with what happened before.

A look at the returning main cast and characters in Marshals Season 2

As explained earlier, Marshals Season 2 won't begin with a time jump, but after the events of Season 1 to show what the characters are dealing with. So, here's a look at the main cast and the character they bring to life (via Sneak Peak):

1) Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton

He's the leading character, a former Navy SEAL/rancher who joins the specialized U.S. Marshals unit in Montana. Kayce has faced a lot in Season 1, and it looks like things won't be easy in the next chapter either.

2) Logan Marshall-Green as Pete "Cal" Calvin

Cal is the leader of the Marshals unit and Kayce’s former Navy SEAL commander. He is confirmed to be returning as Cal and Belle survive the Season 1 finale ambush cliffhanger (though "not necessarily unscathed"). His cancer diagnosis linked to military burn pits will also continue into Season 2.

3) Arielle Kebbel as Belle (Isabel) Skinner

Belle is also a member of the Marshals team and a former undercover ATF agent. She is among the confirmed returning cast members for Marshals Season 2 as it picks up directly from the finale cliffhanger alongside Cal.

4) Ash Santos as Andrea Cruz

She is the Deputy U.S. Marshal on the team. She is confirmed to be returning (also seen in production photos for the premiere episode "All Hat No Cattle"). Andrea's arc may show a different side, with earlier teases about possibly leaving Montana.

5) Tatanka Means as Miles Kittle

He is the deputy U.S. Marshal from the Broken Rock Reservation (former Marine). Has been confirmed to return for Season 2.

Other main returning cast members of Season 2 include Brecken Merrill as Tate Dutton, Mo Brings Plenty as Mo, and Gil Birmingham as Thomas Rainwater.

Who are the supporting and new cast members of Marshals Season 2

The supporting cast of the spin-off includes:

Morgan Lindholm as Maddie: She is a bartender at the Bullet ’N Barrel and Cal’s estranged daughter. As reported by Deadline, her role has been extended in the new chapter.

Brett Cullen as Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Harry Gifford: He is Cal’s superior and often looks suspicious of Kayce.

Other stars expected in Season 2 are Chris Mulkey as Tom Weaver (Season 1 antagonist tied into ongoing plots), Ellyn Jameson as Dolly Weaver, and potentially Riley Green as Garrett (Cal and Kayce’s former SEAL teammate).

The new cast members of Marshals Season 2 so far are:

Marque Richardson as Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick Burns: He has secured a recurring role.

Jefferson White as Jimmy Hurdstrom: As explained by High on Films, Yellowstone star Jefferson White will also join Marshals Season 2 as the former Yellowstone ranch hand who later worked at the Four Sixes in Texas.
