Marshals Season 2 premiere reveals Cal and Belle's fate and includes a major death

CBS's neo-Western drama, Marshals Season 2, is here. Titled All Hat No Cattle, the premiere picks up right from the events of Season 1's ending.

The finale ended on a cliffhanger with Tate leaving for a bass fishing trip with Tom Weaver. Meanwhile, Tate's father, Kayce Dutton, was unaware that Weaver, who was desperate to buy East Camp, was the mastermind behind the attack on the ranch and Thomas Rainwater, and that Tate's life was in danger. Elsewhere, Cal and Belle were attacked by two hitmen.

The first episode of Marshals Season 2 wastes no time and solves the finale's cliffhangers. Belle and Cal survive with minor injuries and find recovered burner phones and a photo of Jeb, Tom Weaver's foreman, from the attackers. At East Camp, Weaver's attorney offers to buy the ranch at an increased rate, but Kayce refuses. He kills the gunmen and stabs the lawyer. Here's more about it.
