CBS's Marshals Season 2 is gearing up for its release. It is set to premiere on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 8:30 PM ET/8:00 PM PT on CBS Television Network and on Paramount for Premium plan subscribers. The episode will also be available to stream the following day on Paramount+ for Essential plan subscribers. New episodes will drop weekly at 8 PM ET on Sundays.

Created by Spencer Hudnut, this neo-Western drama is a sequel to Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone and follows the life of John Dutton's youngest son, Kayce, who is a former US Navy SEAL. Kayce and his son, Tate, live in Yellowstone's East Camp. Kayce joins a specialized team tasked with protecting Montana from all the violent crimes. Marshals was renewed for a second season within two weeks after its premiere garnered massive views.

Marshals Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger. Tom Weaver, the mastermind behind the attack on East Camp, takes Kayce's son, Tate, for bass fishing in Texas. Kayce is unaware of Weaver's doings and the danger he has put Tate in. Elsewhere, two hitmen open fire on Belle and Cal, leaving their fate hanging. However, amidst all the doubts, Kayce finally decides not to sell East Camp.

Marshals Season 2 will premiere on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 8:30 PM ET on CBS. The premiere episode is titled 'All Hat No Cattle'. New episodes will drop every Sunday at 8:00 PM ET. You can also watch the episode on Paramount+. Subscribers with the Paramount+Premium plan can watch the episode during the live broadcast and can also stream it later. Essential subscribers will not have access to the live broadcast but can stream on demand the following day.

CBS has yet to announce the episode count for Season 2. However, as per IMDb, Marshals Season 2 might have 18 episodes. Here's a release schedule for Marshals Season 2.

What to expect from the Marshals Season 2 premiere episode?

According to US Today, Season 2 will pick up right from the events of Season 1's ending. Kayce Dutton will eventually realize that his son, Tate, has been taken hostage by Weaver's men. The season's premiere logline reads,

"A violent showdown ensues, putting everything Kayce cares about at risk."

An exclusive TV Line clip gives a sneak peek of Marshals Season 2 Episode 1. In the preview clip, Andrea appears and tells Call that she went to East Camp to see Kayce and noticed he was acting weird. She tells him,

"I can't shake the feeling that something's off."

The rest of the squad eventually figures out that the Weavers were responsible for the attack on Thomas Rainwater. And now their sole mission is to find Tom Weaver.
