Marvel's upcoming series, VisionQuest, is going to premiere on Disney+ in October 2026. So far, Marvel has revealed that despite regaining his memories, Vision is still struggling to emotionally connect with them. As he tries to rebuild his life and make sense of his past, he will find comfort in the AIs embedded in his programming, whom he chooses to view as humans.But when a bounty is put out on him, he has to go on the run with a boy who might be the reincarnation of his son. New posters of VisionQuest give us a look at not only one of the AIs, Ultron, but also the mysterious boy who might just be the one Vision needed.Marvel's VisionQuest poster hints at how Tommy's soul survivedMarvel has already confirmed that we're going to meet Thomas Shepherd/Tommy Maximoff in VisionQuest. Thomas is a young boy who will be helping Vision as he tries to stay away from the ones hunting him for the bounty on his head. Marvel has just posted 3 posters, and they feature one character each. The second one features the AI, Ultron, played by James Spader. We see both the real look of Ultron and his human version, which is how Vision prefers to view him. In the background is a painting, symbolizing Ultron's hobby of painting.The third poster is of Thomas Shepherd/Tommy Maximoff, struggling in water. He appears to be almost drowning, which hints at how he was reincarnated by his brother, Billy Maximoff, at the end of Agatha All Along.In WandaVision, Wanda had created twin boys Tommy and Billy using her chaos magic inside the Westview Anomaly. As she raised them with Vision inside the Hex, the boys grew up extremely fast, and Tommy gained super-speed. When Wanda destroyed the Hex, the twins vanished along with everything else, and their physical bodies no longer existed. However, their souls survived.In Agatha All Along, we learned that Billy's soul reincarnated in the body of William Kaplan right after the boy died in a car crash. Tommy's soul, however, drifted away. At the end of Agatha All Along, Billy used his magic to sense and reach out to Tommy's lost consciousness and accidentally guided his soul into the body of a drowning boy, Thomas Shepherd.The new poster is thus a direct reference to the boy who is a mystery to Vision and will turn out to be his long-lost son, Tommy. In VisionQuest, as Vision tries to steer clear of the ones hunting him, he will be joined by Thomas, and we will see how he slowly realizes who the boy really is.
