1) Nishihata Daigo as Umezawa Kyonosuke

Umezawa Kyonosuke is a former child actor who later became unemployed. As a way out, he decided to join the gang to become a drug dealer and earn money. He looks skilled in fighting and has a clever mind, which he uses to try to escape from the raid.

At the same time, he is also scared to lose his life. He becomes a double spy for the narcotics and the police while also working with the gang leader. This shows that Kurosaki and Katsuragi see him as a resource rather than a mere person who is of no use to them.

2) Hosoda Yoshihiko as Kurosaki Toru

Kurosaki Toru works in the narcotics department and seems like a person who is obsessed with drug cases. He has a very sharp mind, which is seen in Episode 1 when he stays behind during the apartment raid to catch Umezawa on his own and offers him a deal, while no one else suspects Umezawa is the drug dealer.

This shows he has his own way of doing things and doesn't always go with the team's instructions. At the same time, he doesn't hesitate to lie to his boss when he asks if he caught Umezawa. This shows that he is willing to bend the rules and prioritizes his own motives.

3) Mukai Osamu as Katsuragi Akito

Katsuragi Akito is a police officer who is also trying his best to find the drug dealer. He is also as clever as Kurosaki and offers Umezawa the same deal as him after he catches him.

At the same time, both Kurosaki and Katsuragi don't seem to like each other a lot. Whether this is because of the department differences or a past incident is not clear yet.

4) Hirano Kinari as Matsubara Tsutomu

Matsubara Tsutomu is the person Umezawa works for. His character shows no sympathy for others, and it can be clearly seen in episode 1 when he beats Umezawa for losing money because of the raid. Matsubara is a ruthless boss and wants to get the results and the money to maintain his control and power.

5) Kujo Joe as Kaga Hibiki

Kaga is a famous Chiba talent who catches the eye of Kurosaki. He also puts the drug in a fan's food and later takes her to the hotel and gives her more drugs, showing his opportunistic behaviour.

Umezawa is given the task of giving the drugs to Kaga and recording everything as evidence. Because of his high-profile status in Matori & Kyoken Men in the Back Alleys, he becomes an easy target.
