Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed Episode 4, titled 'Raisins,' was released on Apple TV on June 3. The latest episode of the platform's dark comedy series picked up in the aftermath of the previous episode's cliffhanger, which teased the Portland incident and Paula's harrowing past.

As Detective Sofia and Baxter continued to investigate Trevor's murder, they each suspected Paula and Dennis, who became the prime suspects. While Dennis surprisingly provided a solid alibi, Sofia contacted Karl to discuss the details about the case, concerning his ex-wife. Karl still seemed to care about Paula, but considering that he is about to start a new life with Mallory in Boise, this could spell danger for the protagonist. Karl might use the information to win the custody battle for their daughter.

Here is the complete recap of Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed Episode 4.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed Episode 4 finally revealed the details of the Portland incident, which strengthened Detectives Sofia and Baxter's suspicions about Paula. The latest entry revealed that Paula and Karl were already struggling in their marriage in Portland. While Paula was determined to make things work, Karl was already falling for his co-worker, Mallory. Things escalated when the couple went to Karl's boss's son's birthday party, which allowed him to spend time with Mallory and make an impression on his seniors.

With Karl occupied with his co-workers, Paula felt out of place at the party and noticed her husband's closeness with Mallory. When she saw her daughter's tired face, she decided that it was time to go. Since Karl refused to leave the party in Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed Episode 4, she had no choice but to drive her daughter to their house. However, before reaching their house, Paula ''accidentally'' ran over their drunk neighbor in the driveway, who was known to show up unannounced.

Karl and Mallory were quick to arrive on the scene and supported Paula in front of the detectives, maintaining that the neighbour was a drunk. However, the episode suggested that Paula likely ran over her neighbor on purpose, as she was drunk and agitated over her husband's cheating.

Dennis planned a solid alibi in Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed Episode 4

While Baxter was convinced that Paula had murdered Trevor, Sofia suspected Dennis. In Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed Episode 4, she maintained that Dennis might have murdered his partner in jealousy over his profession as a camboy. When the duo called in Dennis for questioning, he came up with a sob story about how he got a chance to love the real Trevor, as opposed to the fake personality available online.

The episode saw a turning point when Dennis revealed his solid alibi. The CCTV footage from Elmhurst Healing PT captured Dennis arriving for a 7 a.m. appointment to receive treatment for a shoulder injury. The footage further showed him leaving the centre after two hours, which means that he cannot be a suspect in Trevor's murder. While Baxter was convinced by Dennis' alibi and allowed him to leave the interrogation, Sofia still suspected him.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed Episode 4 finally revealed how Dennis managed to create this fake alibi. Turns out, Dennis booked a two-hour session at the Elmhurst Healing PT and used the window of the therapy room to climb out and drive to Trevor's house. After killing his boyfriend and cleaning his apartment, he returned to the therapy room from the same window and left the centre from the main entrance, making it look like he was getting treatment in the room for two hours.

Since Dennis was determined to remove Paula from his way, he used the same method to orchestrate her murder. He was seen booking another session at the Elmhurst Healing PT and using the same window to escape.

In the final moments of Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed Episode 4, Paula finally came clean about her situation to her coworkers, Teri and Rudy. After Teri recognized a peculiar ring on the kidnapper's hand, she tracked it down to one of Trevor's friends on his social media, but could not make out their face. While Paula knew the ring belonged to Ash, Trevor's friend and the fake kidnapper, she did not reveal this information to her co-workers, suggesting she might ask for her help in tracking the real killer.
