Here is the complete recap.

Conrad tried to reclaim power in MobLand Season 2 Episode 4

After Frankie's explosion, Conrad was frantic with Kevin, Seraphina and Harry in MobLand Season 2 Episode 4. With Bella's abduction and the explosion in Kevin's yard, the Harrigans were brutally exposed in front of Frankie and Conrad was enraged by their position. The Harrigan patriarch reached a breaking point in Episode 4 and finally asked Harry to choose between him and Kevin. While Harry advised him not to fight internally at such a crucial time, Conrad was desperate to reclaim authority and get revenge on Frankie for threatening the Harrigans.

Conrad's hunger for power directly led him to Frankie's men at the end of MobLand Season 2 Episode 4. He bravely arrived at a group of Frankie's men and announced war.

MobLand Season 2 Episode 4 recap: Harry cuts a loose thread

As the Harrigans' fixer, Harry had an important task in MobLand Season 2 Episode 4. Harry was tasked with dealing with Frankie's explosion at Kevin's yard, which had invited the police's unwanted attention. Harry's corrupt cop Finch delivered some good news.

Since the site was badly damaged, it gave the duo time to stage Frankie's explosion as a conventional gas leak. While Harry managed to turn the crime scene around, DCI Kavanagh became suspicious after examining evidence from the Season 2 premiere's dog-track shooting. Since Finch was directly involved in the investigation, Kavanagh became suspicious. Once Harry realized that Kavanagh had cut Finch out of the Harrigans' investigation, he became a liability that needed to be addressed.

MobLand Season 2 Episode 4 saw Harry make an important decision. He took Finch to a remote location and prepared to execute him. While Finch tried to buy time by claiming he had a dirty file on the Harrigans, Harry called out his bluff. Harry eventually killed Finch by hanging him, removing the bridge between the Harrigans and the police.

Harry made a deal with Seraphina

After Seraphina's slip-up in the previous episode of MobLand Season 2, Harry was onto her. He directly confronted her about her connection to Kat McAllister and Seraphina agreed that she had betrayed Conrad and the Harrigans. While Harry might see it as a betrayal, Seraphina had no choice. Brendan's death made her realize Conrad was not capable of protecting her and the empire anymore, which is why she accepted Kat's offer.

Surprisingly, Harry understood Seraphina's choice and confessed that he had thought about leaving the Harrigans. Instead of punishing Seraphina for her betrayal, he asked her to become his inside source and use her relationship with Kat for good. After Finch's death, Harry needed someone to infiltrate Kat's organization from the inside and Seraphina was the perfect candidate, given Kat's trust in her.

Trending

MobLand Season 2 Episode 4 concluded on an interesting note. While Harry aims to use logic and strategy to win the war against Frankie, Conrad relies solely on violence. Harry's strategy of eliminating Finch and turning Seraphina from a traitor into a weapon against Kat suggests he is on the right path. But Conrad's attack on Frankie's men and his direct challenge to wage war will certainly create another problem for Harry and the Harrigans in the upcoming episodes.
