MobLand Season 2 Episode 8, titled We Don't Talk Anymore, was released on Paramount+ on November 6.

According to DM Talkies, the latest episode of MobLand Season 2 increased the stakes after Harry's covert strike on Frankie escalated the war against the Harrigans. The Newgate prison guards found Frankie's son Michael dead in his cell, meaning Harry had delivered on his promise made in the previous episode. As Frankie vowed to avenge his son's death, a new enemy emerged from the shadows, who would likely target Gina and Harry's family in upcoming episodes.

Here's what happened in the latest episode.

MobLand Season 2 Episode 8 introduces Mad Dog

The latest episode of MobLand Season 2 revealed that Medusa's real name was Colm O'Connor, who has a dangerous incarcerated son named Kelly 'Mad Dog' O'Connor. The episode began in Kerry, where Mad Dog was out of prison and attending Medusa's funeral. As Mad Dog put his father's body to rest, he promised to avenge his death, meaning Harry and the Harrigans just got a new enemy. News of Mad Dog's release from prison reached Eddie in Cotswold, and he naturally panicked. Mad Dog had a dangerous reputation, and Eddie was worried that Medusa's son would come after him for revenge.

At the sauna, Eddie confronted Maeve about her Ireland assignment and why she sent Eddie and Gina to kill Medusa, knowing he had a dangerous son like Mad Dog. As Maeve continued to defend her assignment as a test for Eddie, she again advised Gina to take her own life in Cotswold. With Mad Dog hot on their tails, Maeve advised Gina to commit su*c*de, as it might prompt Harry to rescue her from Cotswold.

Harry warns Frankie in MobLand Season 2 Episode 8

News of Michael's death reached Frankie in MobLand Season 2 Episode 8, and he was naturally grief-stricken by his son's demise in prison. It was a no-brainer that Harry was behind Michael's death, and Frankie vowed to avenge his son.

On the other hand, Harry and Kevin took Paul to a shipping container and asked him to dispose of Donnie's body, who was murdered by Jan in an earlier episode. The duo ordered Paul to chop Donnie's body, put it into Ziploc bags and put them in cold storage. After taking care of Donnie, Harry rang up Frankie and advised him to call off the war against the Harrigans. While Frankie believed Harry was merely bluffing in the casino, he proved his threats by killing his son. Harry believed this would force Frankie to back down, but he was more determined and announced that he would destroy Harry and the Harrigans and avenge his son's death.

Another subplot in MobLand Season 2 Episode 8 featured a long-overdue conversation between Harry and Jan. While the couple's marriage was falling apart, Jan's affair complicated things. Jan and Harry met at the Da Souza household, where the Harrigan fixer came clean about his job. Harry maintained that he would go to any lengths to protect the Harrigan family and even used Michael's death as an example to justify the dark turn his job could take. While Jan understood Harry's position, the Harrigan fixer knew that she would not be able to forgive herself for Donnie's murder.

When Harry advised Jan to go on a run with Gina in MobLand Season 2 Episode 8, Jan turned the question on him. Harry smiled, suggesting he could not escape the life of crime even if he wanted to.

In the final moments of the episode, Mad Dog saw Gina and Eddie tailing his father before his death. While Eddie's face remained hidden, Gina was clearly visible on the footage, suggesting that she was in trouble. While Mad Dog holds Eddie responsible for his father's death for now, he will soon learn that the murder was carried out by Harry. With Frankie and Mad Dog both pursuing Gina to avenge their loved ones, it remains to be seen how Harry will protect his family.
