Loic De Marie explained that psychopaths have "pretty good instincts." He seeks out girls without fathers and women who are depressed and vulnerable. He said:

"We got this brain wired differently. So we tend to have more attraction to dopamine and to results."

Loic De Marie explains how psychopaths choose their targets

He suggested that things such as the way a person walks or talks could give him an idea about their personality or vulnerability. In other words, he believed he could form an impression of someone without having to know them very well first.

He then admitted that he had deliberately looked for certain women whom he considered more vulnerable. He mentioned women who had grown up without fathers, were depressed, or were especially empathetic.

His reason was connected to getting what he wanted more quickly. He linked this to his claim that psychopaths are more drawn toward dopamine and achieving results, meaning that successfully getting an outcome could provide a rewarding feeling.

He also explained that manipulation begins with earning someone's trust first. Instead of appearing threatening to people, he said charm could make manipulation easier.
