My Royal Nemesis is currently one of the most popular K-dramas around the world. It features Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-jun in the titular roles, and the story offers a mix of Joseon-era historical intrigue with a modern fish-out-of-water rom-com.

The drama began with Kang Dan-shim of the Joseon dynasty ending up in the modern world after she was given a second chance at life. She was a concubine who was accused of multiple crimes and was ultimately sentenced to death by poisoning.

However, she finds herself in the modern world in the body of Shin Seo-ri, a struggling and nameless actress. There, she crosses paths with Cha Se-gye, a cold, ruthless, and arrogant chaebol heir.

They clash often, but the story takes an even more interesting turn when they start to understand each other. The K-drama has completed ten episodes, and now Kang has told the truth to Se-gye about her past. They have even started a relationship.
