When Sam asks permission from Assistant Special Agent-In-Charge Robyn Wells (Jennifer Beals) to handle the case, he will be teamed up with Scott Caan's Nick Schaeffer, a roguish NCIS agent, setting up a new partnership in the franchise.LL Cool J teased that the NCIS: New York Pilot will fill in the details from Sam Hanna's time in Dubai. He called Sam a lone wolf, a samurai, who was handling high-stakes solo missions around the Globe, until he got a call in Dubai from somebody very important to him.
