Mark Harmon as Supervisory Special Agent and Special Agent in Charge Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Like previous installments, the Reasonable Doubts star led the NCIS Season 11 Episode 17 cast. The most accomplished marksman of his team was on the case when a pre-planned explosion in the dressing room of a charity concert killed a Navy petty officer. While Harmon has left the NCISverse behind, his exceptional detective skills were on full display in this episode.

Michael Weatherly as Senior Field Agent Anthony DiNozzo: The Tony & Ziva star is the next main addition to the NCIS Season 11 Episode 17 cast. While Weatherly's character received a mixed reaction from the audience, the senior field agent eventually grew on fans, thanks to his witty charm and impressive pop-culture humour, which brought a fun edge to the series.

Sean Murray as Senior Field Agent Timothy McGee: The longest-featured cast member in the military procedural series is the main addition in the 'Rock and a Hard Place' cast. While Gibbs and the team initially believed that the bomb was placed by one of the singers' agents, it was McGee who investigated this red herring and positioned the team in the right direction.
