A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 was greenlit back in November 2024, and Netflix has finally announced the release date of the upcoming season. In the first season, Pip uncovered that Sal Singh, who was believed to have killed his girlfriend Andie Bell in 2019, was actually innocent and framed. She revealed who the real perpetrators were.

In A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2, one of the perpetrators indirectly responsible for Andie Bell's death will be facing trial, and the disappearance of a witness will put Pipa back into the role of an investigator. Netflix has announced that A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 will be released on Netflix on May 27, 2026.

Everything we know about A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2

Season 1 of the show ended with Pipa finding out that it was Andie's own sister, Becca, who had killed her. Becca was raped by Max Hastings, who used to be a friend of Sal and Andie before they passed away. Max had used the drugs he bought from Andie to drug Becca and then raped her. Thus, Becca blamed her older sister for the rape, and also because Andie was running away from home, leaving Becca alone with their abusive father. On the night Andie went missing, she was actually killed by Becca in a fit of anger.

While Max was not directly involved in Andie's murder, he did drug Becca and sexually assault her. He had also been a part of a cover-up involving a hit-and-run case. In Season 2, we will see Max face trial, but things will go south when a witness named Jamie Reynolds goes missing. A witness' disappearance is not only a hindrance to Max's case but also puts the witness in danger.

While Pipa doesn't want to deal with any more investigations, she will now have to find the witness while she also deals with the consequences of being the one who solved a crime that the police couldn't. We will also see what happens to Pipa and Ravi's relationship after they confessed their feelings to one another at the end of Season 1.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 will adapt the second book of Holly Jackson's A Good Girl's Guide to Murder novel series, titled Good Girl, Bad Blood.
