Apple TV just released a brand new trailer for Silo Season 3. The upcoming chapter is set to premiere on July 3, 2026. The latest trailer gave us more glimpses of the outside world before the catastrophic event that resulted in the creation of Silos.
The trailer further suggests that Silo Season 3 will be split into two timelines: one will depict the truth behind the event that ended the world, and the other will show Rebecca Ferguson's character, Juliette, learn the truth behind the destruction of the outside world and more about the underground silo.
The events have also been hinted at in the synopsis of Season 3, which reads as:
"In the present, Juliette Nichols survives her forced ‘cleaning’ but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat. Meanwhile, in the ‘Before Times,’ journalist Helen Drew and Congressman Daniel Keene uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences."
More on this in our story.
Silo Season 3 trailer unravels more about the past

Season 2 of Apple TV's Silo ended with a glimpse at the past, before the silo was created. It showed Jessica Henwick's character, a journalist named Helen, who was trying to uncover information about a 'radiological weapon attack', which seemingly caused the apocalypse.
This past story also includes Ashley Zukerman, who plays Congressman Daniel, from whom Helen tries to get more information about the attack. The latest trailer confirms that the Season 2 flashback scene will play a much bigger role in Silo Season 3, as the upcoming season will take us to a world where the apocalyptic event has not yet occurred.
It will also finally unravel the truth about the creation of the Silo. Furthermore, the trailer also confirms the split in the timelines as it will delve back and forth from the past to the present. In the present, the trailer suggests that Juliette's questions, which she has been asking since the beginning, will finally be answered.
The trailer's tagline is the most evident of this information as it reads:
"The truth lies in the past."
Silo is adapted from Hugh Howey's book trilogy, and Season 3 is adapted from the second book, Shift. Shift covers the historical events that resulted in the apocalypse and the creation of the underground Silo. The trailer also teases that the story before the apocalypse will be the main plot of Season 3 of Silo.
Furthermore, the new trailer also hinted that Ferguson's Juliette Nicols might also be closer to knowing the truth that could result in more chaos inside the Silo. While the trailer teases that some of the mysteries might be solved in Silo Season 3, we have to wait until July 3, 2026, to learn more about the Apple TV series.
Who will appear in Silo Season 3?
Apart from Rebecca Ferguson, Common, Avi Nash, Harriet Walter, and Alexandria Riley are confirmed to return in Season 3. Other cast members, such as Chinaza Uche, Jessica Henwick, and Ashley Zuckerman, will also be reprising their roles in the upcoming chapter.
Henwick and Zuckerman appeared briefly in Season 2, but as Season 3 is said to delve deeper into the historical events of the series, their roles will be much bigger now.
