Bridgerton Season 4, Part 1 Release News
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait nearly a month for Bridgerton Season 4 to return, as the season has been divided into two parts. Showrunner Jess Brownell told Town & Country about the decision and stated,
“We had actually written and produced the entire season before Netflix approached us to split the season into two. We did have a choice of where we wanted to split it, and it really worked perfectly to split it into equal parts. We always break the season with a midpoint at the end of episode 4, which turns the action on its head for back half.”
The second part of the show is all set to release on the 26th of February with four brand new episodes and a conclusion to Benedict and Sophie's romance.
Who is returning for Bridgerton Season 2, Part 1?

What do we know about Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2?

Part 2 will focus on the consequences of Benedict’s choice, and will not give us a quick reconciliation between the two. Sophie pulls away after his question, asserting her independence and dignity, while Benedict is forced to confront how deeply his privilege shapes his idea of love.
The show is exploring ideas of class, love and social construct, with the premise of this season's love story that is following a classic Cinderella trope.
Showrunner Jess Brownell spoke to Tudum about the second part of the show and stated,
“For Sophie, the idea of being a mistress is the worst possible thing she could be asked. Sophie really doesn’t want to ever put a child in the situation she was in. Despite societal rules, there is a part of Sophie that’s hoping that Benedict could see beyond [the ton] and that what they have is so special it could overcome the obstacles of class.”
The new episodes will also continue parallel storylines involving Francesca’s evolving romantic arc, Violet’s late-in-life happiness, and Queen Charlotte’s watchful influence over the marriage market.
The first part of Bridgerton Season 4 is now streaming on Netflix.
