Hunter Biden joked about being "a little bit” gay during an appearance on The Luke Beasley Show. In the podcast, Biden spoke about his personal life, other than joking that he was 48.6% gay. The clip quickly went viral after the 56-year-old son of former US President Joe Biden appeared on the podcast, which was released on August 16.What did Hunter Biden say?The host started the podcast by saying out loud that he is gay:“Let’s get serious. I am gay.”Hunter Biden responded:“Uh, really? Wow! Seriously? I’m so amazed you’re gay.”The host then asked Biden if he was gay, and the 56-year-old replied:“Um, only a little bit.”This instantly got Luke Beasley to ask:“More or less than 50 percent?”Hunter answered, “48.6%,” before questioning whether the conversation was serious. The podcast continued as Beasley asked Hunter if he would be his type if he were gay. The son of the 46th President of the United States of America replied that Beasley was not his type and quipped that if he were gay, he would prefer "a little bit more masculine":“Uh, no. I just…a little bit more masculine would be, I think, my type if I was gay.”During the podcast, Beasley even showed Hunter an AI-generated image of the two appearing to embrace:“If I’m not your type, then why did you embrace me like this? Go ahead, take a look.”Hunter played along with the joke as he referenced his sobriety while talking about the AI-generated image of the two appearing to embrace:“Oh Jesus Christ, I don’t know. I just, it all is coming back to me. I was in a stupor at that point. I think that was pre-2019 when I got sober.”Later on during the podcast, Hunter Biden returned to what he termed "the gay question" and appeared to change his response:“Maybe I take back 48.5, more like 47… My gaydom went down a percentage point.”By the end of the podcast, the former first son had once again changed his answer:“I just wanted to let you know that I am back up to 48.5 percent gay.”Hunter Biden, the former first son, has been married to Melissa Cohen since 2019. The couple, who got married six days after meeting, have one son, whose name is Robert "Beau" Biden Jr.Before being married to Cohen, he was married to Kathleen Buhle from 1993 until they called it quits in the year 2017.
