She took to Instagram, where she wrote:“I am living a nightmare I can’t wake up from. My husband has been having an affair.”Hila said she initially trusted Ethan when he dismissed her concerns, but later realized her suspicions were correct. She also discussed the emotional toll of the alleged betrayal, stating that she was attempting to navigate separation, co-parenting, and heartbreak while focusing on herself and her children. She added:“I have been fed lie after lie for months. I am tired of lies. Here’s the truth. I trusted him because I loved him. I stopped questioning him and started questioning myself, my own instincts. My sanity.”She continued:“Eventually he was caught in a lie, and I knew I was done. But then the lies continued. ‘It was just a kiss’ became ‘it was emotional cheating.’ After I dragged these lies from him he finally admitted he’d been in an affair for over six months.”She also admitted that she had no idea how extensive the affair was and will most likely never find out:“The betrayal I feel is immeasurable. The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight… how do I even make sense of this?”They got married in 2012 and have three children. Hila has not publicly identified the individual with whom she claims Ethan had an affair.Ethan has since begged followers to respect his family's privacy. He has also stated that he is working to give up his financial interests and ownership holdings in the podcasts and joint ventures from which he would otherwise profit, intending to direct assistance to Hila and the teams involved.The H3 Podcast team cut ties with Ethan KleinThe controversy has also impacted the future of the H3 Podcast. In an Instagram post uploaded on October 22, the production team stated that they would not continue to work with Ethan Klein or allow him to profit from the show. The statement read:“We are shocked, angry and heartbroken to hear about Ethan’s ongoing affair. As soon as we found out, we all agreed: we would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way.”The crew stated that the podcast's future was uncertain as its members sorted through the problem. They also voiced their support for Hila and said they will stick together throughout this difficult time:“There’s a lot to work through and we wish we had more answers for you. We stand with Hila and support her every step of the way. We’re disgusted by Ethan’s actions and the hurt he caused. We all deserved better: Hila, us and you.”The statement continued:“We put so much of ourselves into this show, and it’s hard to find the words for what we’re feeling right now,” they added. “Thank you for giving us some time to figure things out, and for all the love you’ve shown us.
