While specific details remain locked in the crypt, showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have hinted at where season three is headed during the press release. Following the season two finale's shocking revelations, Wednesday will "unearth more of the school's sinister secrets and descend even deeper into the Addams family crypt."

Most importantly, Enid is stuck in werewolf form and heading toward the Canadian border, Tyler has found his community of fellow Hydes, and there's a major problem: Aunt Ophelia, who was thought to be dead, is alive and living in Grandmama Hester's basement. And she's left a terrifying message: "Wednesday must die." That alone sets the tone for the season, and how dark things may be getting for Wednesday Addams.

Gough and Millar also spoke about the season and what he hopes to achieve this season as he stated,

“Our goal for Season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can. We want to continue digging deeper into our characters while expanding the world of Nevermore and Wednesday. We will be seeing more Addams family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3!”

The third season is currently in production near Dublin and as for when we'll actually see it, Netflix is keeping super quiet. The showrunners remain tight-lipped about release dates, with Millar joking he'd "have to bury you in a shallow grave" if he revealed anything else.

More details about Wednesday Season 3 are awaited for now.
