Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 has officially cast three major Olympian gods, rounding out the divine lineup in a big way and adding three major actors to the show's narrative. Hera, Demeter, and Apollo have joined the premise, which means big things are coming for the show's second season.
Actress Ming-N Wen has joined the cast as Hera, the Queen of Olympus and Zeus' wife, who is an important figure in mythology. Known as the Goddess of marriage and family, she shares a complicated dynamic with Zeus, who is being played by Courtney B. Vance.
The actress is known for her work on 1998's Mulan, Hacks, Karate Kid: Legends, The Mandalorian, and The Book of Boba Fett.
Jennifer Beals joins as Demeter, the goddess of agriculture and the harvest. As Zeus’ sister, Demeter carries deep scars from the Titan war and remains fiercely determined to prevent Kronos’ return. Beals has previously worked on Flashdance, The L Word, and has also worked on The Book of Boba Fett and the film Luckiest Girl Alive.
They are joined by newcomer Hubert Smielecki, who steps into the role of Apollo, the radiant god of the sun, music, prophecy, and archery. Known as Olympus’ golden boy and twin brother to Artemis, Apollo brings charisma and flair to the pantheon. Smielecki was previously seen on Netflix's Ransom Canyon.
More details about Percy Jackson And The Olympians Season 3
Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is officially underway, and the next chapter promises higher stakes, darker turns, and major new characters. Production began in August 2025 in Vancouver, with the new season set to premiere in 2026 on Disney+.
The third season adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third novel in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series. Walker Scobell, who plays the titular character on the show, spoke about the third season in an interview with Variety, where he said,
"In Season 3, we pull back a little bit. We don’t lean into it as much. It’s more like he’s trying to get to her over anything. But that’s just like Percy; it’s like getting to Grover. He really cares about her, and I don’t think it’s like a romantic thing yet. I mean, he still has two love interests to go, so that’s what also makes it difficult."
Percy Jackson and the Olympians is available to stream on Disney+.
