Rachel McAdams was the center of attention on the latest episode of The Graham Norton Show, as the actress sat with Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, and John Bishop, who praised her films and her work in the past few years.

After Norton asked Hemsworth if he was particularly fond of any of Rachel's films, the Thor actor said,

“This is a big moment for me. My favourite film is Wedding Crashers. I have seen that film countless times, I would say more than 100. If I am lonely on a press tour like last night, I will switch it on. If I am hungover on a Sunday, it is a feel good movie. Christmas Eve, the kids, it is family, friends, it is everything. I know most of the dialogue in every scene inside out. I love it. It is a brilliant film.”

Halle Berry then joined in, gushing over The Notebook, and how it set a bar for her and how it had a role to play in her relationship with Van Hunt, as she added,

“When I met my new guy, Van, the first time we got together, I said, ‘We have to watch The Notebook, because if I do not have a love like this, if you do not make me feel like her, this is not happening.’ It is my go to when I want to cry, and when I want to feel good, and when I want to feel like I believe in love... I love you in that movie so much."

Bishop then hilariously added his own Rachel McAdams story, saying,

"I love ‘Mean Girls’ Whenever I want to be a bitch, I watch it."

On The Graham Norton Show, the actress also opened up on the intense hate she got after she played the role of Regina George on Mean Girls, a role etched in Hollywood history for being iconic, but it wasn't that easy for McAdams to deal with the hate she got.

The actress admitted she was completely unprepared for how strongly audiences would react to the character, as she didn't know how hated she would be and for how long. Recalling her first time watching the film with a live audience, the Notebook star said she was stunned by the crowd’s reaction to Regina’s infamous bus scene as everyone stood up and cheered when she got hit by a bus.

Elsewhere on The Graham Norton Show, she opened up on her latest film, Send Help, directed by horror filmmaker Sam Raimi, where she stars alongside Dylan O'Brien.

The Graham Norton Show is available to watch on AMC.
